Happy Life Day 2016, everyone! I can’t believe SWTOR is already a half decade old. I first learned about the game in September, 2009, I believe it was, and haven’t looked back since. It’s been a pleasure to be a part of the journey every step of the way so far -and I look forward to being a part of it the rest of the way too.
Anyway, just a quick announcement given the time of year: You know that certain sense of dread you experience when looking at your calendar late November and all through December? If you’re not experiencing it, chances are you’re still being funded largely by your parents. (That’s right, I said it!) Those of you who pay your bills understand what I mean. There’s year-end shopping deadlines to beat, family events to attend, cooking to do (ohhh the cooking), family drama to avoid, etc. And it can be so very overwhelming! This year, of course, like most years, I have found myself living from day to day just trying to keep it together.
So that said, I have decided the right thing to do is take a two-week hiatus from streaming. I’ll still be playing the game when I can, of course, and if Mox lets me know it’s time to record another episode of Passionately Casual Podcast, I’ll be there in a heartbeat. I’ll also be available as always on Twitter and Facebook. But until December 28th, most likely, I will be largely MIA on Twitch because I’ll be too busy… adulting. (I can’t believe that’s a thing).
So for now, enjoy your holiday season. Take care of yourselves. Enjoy this time with your families, take some time off work and school, and remember the things that truly count in life. (Hint: It’s not SWTOR). I love and value you all.
Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and may the Force serve you well.
